This a photomerge of a 2 sheet letter sent to Bruce Lee from Bill Dozier regarding his plans to include him in the cast of a series titled 'Number One Son'. In the end Dozier decided to go with the Green Hornet instead.
(Dozier signed his name in full. I removed the full signature and the date of the letter to prevent forgeries ending up on ebay !)

This letter from Bruce Lee to producer Willaim Dozier gives a helpful insight into the development of the series and shows that Lee was not afraid to voice his opinions.

It does appear that Kato got 'a few more lines' in later episodes so Dozier probably took the observations on board.
